If you were one of the unlucky few who missed your opp to cop tickets to the Yayoi Kusama Infiniti Mirror installation at the Broad (ended Jan 1), guess what, fortune is smiling on you once again!
The museum just announced that it now has the 2017 work “Longing for Eternity,” an LED light-filled hexagonal chamber. This, along with her other work “The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away,” a light-filled mirrored room, are both there.
Even if you know nothing about this prolific Japanese contemporary artist, don’t blow your chance to glimpse into two unique versions of eternity because, ironically, they won’t be around forever.
Admission is first-come, first-served with timed entry. Sign-up in the museum lobby. Admission is free. Kicks-off March 17th.
