Are you one of those dorks who wears a NASA shirt in public? Then we salute you.
Even if you don’t, coming-up is your once a year opportunity to get deep inside NASA’s JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory). For those who don’t know, the Lab, located in Pasadena, is where the bulk of spacecraft (Mars rovers, Jupiter orbiters) come from. That is correct, not from SpaceX.
Open to the public for only two days a year, you’ll get to see: How a space mission actually goes down, looks at both the machine and fab shops, Mission Control, and next gen prototype craft. You don’t have to be a geek to be stoked.
June 9th and 10th. Tix get released here @9am, April 7. Free, but must be reserved online and in advance. Also BRING UR ID – you need it to get in. Sure to sell out.
